Bleidd, the king of Stoyrm, leads the motley band of Maith south, towards the sea, in order to chase after the shadow Kyran continues to sense in his mind. Their journey, however, is curtailed when they stumble across the land ruled by a tribe of feral-Maith, long thought to have been driven to extinction by the people of Forrin.
